We all interpret the world through our emotions and within the context of social interactions. We are human, but how do we anticipate and allow for this basic human function within our classrooms? This is not fluff. Peeling back the meaning of heightened social and emotional needs and adding the impact of incorporating students from an array of backgrounds allows us to explore what a teacher can do to support the social emotional needs of gifted learners.
